The industry-standard 10-point scale used by PSA to evaluate card condition
Expert advice for preparing and submitting your cards for grading
Use a magnifying glass and good lighting to check for whitening, scratches, and print lines before submitting.
Use penny sleeves and card savers. Never use toploaders for grading submissions as they can damage cards.
Research recent sales and declare the correct value. Undervaluing can result in rejected claims if lost.
Balance cost vs. speed. Economy service can take 6+ months, while Express delivers in weeks.
Take high-quality photos of your cards before submission for insurance and record-keeping purposes.
Use bubble wrap, cardboard reinforcement, and tracking. Insurance is essential for valuable submissions.
